This concert explores incarceration (including poetry by formerly and currently incarcerated individuals), walls of division to be torn down, and walls of justice to be built up. We’re also thrilled to feature special guest soloist Chris Benjamin and to share the world-premiere of “Build Ye The Walls,” a co-commissioned work for the Whitman Chorale by Evelyn Simpson-Curenton.
