Please join us for a talk given by Tia Kramer. Tia Kramer is an artist, social choreographer, and educator who creates collective experiences that disrupt the everyday, engaging participants in embodied poetry and radical imagination.

What does co-authorship mean in creative projects, and how does it differ from participation? This interactive lecture examines the complexities and possibilities of collaboration and co-authorship in community-based creative work. Drawing on years of community-engaged art practice and ongoing collaborations as the DeepTime Collective, the session introduces six participatory and collaborative frameworks for engaging communities in creative projects. Through discussion and examples, participants will explore how these approaches navigate dynamics of power, agency, and access while working toward creative visions that have yet to take shape. Adaptable across diverse contexts, these strategies invite participants to reflect on their own collaborative practices and reimagine projects that strengthen community and spark collective action.
