The Walla Walla Symphony is the longest continually operating symphony orchestra west of the Mississippi and has been celebrating great music since 1907. The 2024–2025 Symphony Series events will take place at Cordiner Hall on the campus of Whitman College.

  • Tuesday, Oct. 8 at 7 p.m.
    Symphony Series: Tides & Tales
    Join us for an exciting start to the 2024-2025 season as Dina Gilbert begins her journey as the Walla Walla Symphony’s new Music Director & Conductor.
     
  • Tuesday, Dec. 3 at 7 p.m.
    Symphony Series: Blue Mountains
    Pianist Stephen Beus returns to Walla Walla as the guest artist for George Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue, led by guest conductor Nadège Foofat.
     
  • Friday, Dec. 20 at 7 p.m.
    Symphony Series: A Time for Three Holiday
    Enjoy a holiday-themed evening with string trio Time for Three, featuring a special performance of "Joy" with string students from local schools.
     
  • Tuesday, Feb. 4 at 7 p.m.
    Symphony Series: Enigma
    Experience the powerful and expressive music of Edward Elgar’s Enigma Variations and the World Premiere of Ryan Hare’s Alto Saxophone Concerto, featuring guest artist Otis Murphy.
     
  • Tuesday, March 4 at 7 p.m.
    Symphony Series: Alma & Gustav
    Experience a unique audiovisual event at Cordiner Hall. With 800 hand-drawn illustrations by Pauline Stive projected on a screen, and music by Alma Mahler and her first husband Gustav Mahler, you'll see and hear the story of Alma’s life as a composer and woman in the early 20th century.
     
  • Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at 7 p.m.
    Symphony Series: Canadian Brass
    Canadian Brass returns to Walla Walla in their signature tuxedos and white sneakers for a night of great music and enjoyment.
     
  • Tuesday, May 13 at 7 p.m.
    Symphony Series: Earth, Water, Wind, & Fire
    Join us for an evening of vibrant music and culture, featuring Dinuk Wijeratne's Concerto for Tabla & Orchestra, with special guest Sandeep Das on tabla, and Igor Stravinsky's The Firebird Suite.
