The Politics Department invites you to the virtual public talk by the Indigenous Kichwa leader Zoila Castillo from Ecuador’s rainforest. Her virtual public talk, titled “Weaving the Anti-Extractive Struggle in the Amazon,” will take place in Reid G02 on Tuesday, December 9th, at 2.30pm, and will focus on her life-long defense of Indigenous land against the expansion of oil and mining industries in the Amazon.
