Background: The Rural American Digital (RAD) Lab is a unique four week digital story-telling initiative that has taken place this month. With guidance from a Seattle-based tech start-up called PopUpJustice, student participants from Whitman College and Heritage University are bringing to light often-ignored or forgotten stories of the non-urban part of Washington State. This month, two dozen students have spent time on both campuses, enjoyed broad exposure to faculty and staff from both institutions, and worked together to create digital stories about our complex diverse place on the map.
Learn more about what the students have been learning about and working on at #RADLab18.
This event is free and open to the Whitman and Walla Walla community.
Reception will follow.
