Walla Walla Community College, Walla Walla University, Whitman College, Blue Zones Project, and Blue Mountain Volunteer Corps are excited to partner with you this year in organizing the annual Tri-College Community Day. This is an opportunity for students from all three schools, community partners, and community members to come together in service of their community. We look forward to building on the success of last year's event, working alongside you on projects to be completed by volunteers, and celebrating our togetherness and collective strength as a community. We hope that Community Day will be a chance to create meaningful connections: connections among students from different schools, connections among students and community partners and members, and connections among ideas, talents, and academic exploration. We invite you and your organization to submit a proposal to host a volunteer project this year. Last year, approximately 250 volunteers were mobilized to work alongside community partners on 20 different projects. Volunteers worked on a wide variety of projects, including stream restoration, trail maintenance, museum exhibit restoration, and house painting.
