Alumni are invited to tour the infamous Alcatraz Island with expert in the field of incarceration, and professor emeritus, Keith Farrington. We encourage you to bring your family and children age 4 and under that can sit on laps are even free! Professor Farrington and his wife Nancy Tavelli will stay on the island approximately 3 to 4 hours but participants are free to take their time and return on the ferry anytime they need. Unfortunately tickets are limited, act fast!
The group will meet at Alcatraz Landing on Pier 33 to pick up tickets.
8:45 AM Meet Jason Arp '94 for your tickets. He'll be wearing something with Whitman on it.
9:20 AM Ferry departs. Unfortunately there are no refunds if you miss this ferry.
Tickets include the audio tour which you can pick up on the island.
Please purchase your tickets by Sunday, June 4 here. Note: Do not select tickets for children 4 and under as long as they can sit on a lap. They will not need a ticket.
