The Third Space Speakers Series features scholars, artists, writers and thought leaders whose work helps to advance inclusive excellence at Whitman and serves as an intentional manifestation of the college's stated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion and antiracism. This week's event will feature presentations, dialogue and Q&A related to critical disability studies and disability justice with Dr. Lissa Ramirez-Stapleton, Dr. Lisette E. Torres-Gerald, and Alex Locust. Dr. Ramirez-Stapleton will be here with us in Walla Walla (Maxey Auditorium) and Dr. Torres-Gerald and Alex will engage via Zoom webinar. With support from the Johnston-Fix Foundation. Sign language interpreter will be provided.
