DESCRIPTION:This two-hour clinic is for anyone interested in becoming a bou
 ldering or vertical route setter. The first portion will cover all the bas
 ics you need to know to set bouldering routes at the Whitman Climbing Cent
 er. The last portion will teach the special systems and safety considerati
 ons necessary for vertical route setting. If you have already taken the bo
 ulder route setting clinic\, you can just come for the vertical route sett
 ing portion\, or if you just want to learn to set bouldering problems\, yo
 u can leave early. You must also pass a vertical systems proficiency test 
 at the end of the vertical route setters clinic to do any roped systems wo
 rk at the Climbing Center. (No experience necessary) Student: $10Community
