DESCRIPTION:This two-hour clinic is designed for people who want to learn h
 ow to top rope\, climb\, and belay. You will first learn how to tie into a 
 harness and belay using the PBUS belay method\, which is the preferred bela
 y method at the Whitman College Climbing Center. You will practice climbing
  and belaying (with a backup belayer) for the remainder of the clinic and g
 et ready to take a proficiency test the next time they are offered. (No exp
 erience necessary) Ages: 14 and up Student: $10Community: $10 + Entrance fe
