On April 19, come and learn about The Fulbright Program and hear from Nikki Brueggeman, Fulbright grantee to South Korea (2015-2017) about her experiences. Nikki will discuss strategies for applying to the program, expectations for grantees, and how applicants can prepare for being part of the program.
More About the Fulbright:
The Fulbright U.S. Student Program is the flagship international program in the arena of fellowships, scholarships and grants. Its overarching purpose is "mutual understanding between cultures." The program is split into two tracks: English Teaching Assistantships and study grants. The Fulbright English Teaching Assistant awards support a fully paid cultural immersion as a teaching assistant of English in the country of your choosing. Study/research grants support fully paid research/study opportunities and cultural immersion in the country of your choosing.
