This is the first in a series of four interdisciplinary panels of Whitman College professors responding to Maxey Museum's "Mapping India: Colonialism, Nationalism, and the Partition of South Asia." Smith (Religion/Classics), and Emily Somoskey (Art) will share their remarks on a range of objects in the exhibition, followed by conversation and questions.
