 ward-winning playwright whose plays have received numerous national and in
 ternational productions\, including A Narrow Bed\, Iphigenia and Other Dau
 ghters\, Tongue of a Bird\, The Trojan Women\, Helen\, The Persians\, Oedi
 pus\, Ajax in Iraq\, Penelope\, Septimus and Clarissa\, Blood Moon\, and m
 ost recently\, the critically acclaimed The Oresteia.  She is also an acto
 r who has worked on and Off Broadway as well as extensively in regional th
 eater. She is most well known for having originated the part of the Angel 
 in Tony Kushner’s Angels in America\, appearing in every U.S. production
  from its earliest workshops through its Broadway run.
