The Intercultural Excellence Stole Ceremony is a special occasion where we honor your dedication. It provides a space for you to come together with your fellow graduates, families, and friends, to take a moment to reflect on the strengths you’ve developed and the obstacles you’ve overcome during your time at Whitman. This ceremony is a tribute to the supportive community that has surrounded you. Seniors who take part in this optional ceremony will be bestowed with a stole symbolizing their cultural heritage, personally presented by either President Bolton, or whoever the graduate chooses. Everyone is welcome to join us in commemorating our remarkable graduating seniors!
