About this Event
Indigenous Peoples Education and Culture Club is guiding a special tour to explore the rich history and heritage of the Walla Walla Valley from the perspective of Native American tribes. This experience will give you a deeper connection to our home and how the college’s relationship with this land has evolved over time. The tour will feature important sites such as Treaty Rock, the Marcus Whitman Statue, and the Treaty Placard. You'll be encouraged to learn, connect, and share in the stories of the land and walk with us as we reflect on the cultural significance of these landmarks.
