Your student will be involved or have the opportunity to be involved in so many academic endeavors and this will be your chance to learn about them all! Whitman's First-Year Seminars engage students in deep-thought and transformative conversations. Pre-major advising will help your student navigate their academic roadmap and make the most of their time at Whitman. Finally, as students start to get their academic bearings, some of them will also want to start planning for Off-Campus study during their junior year. Faculty and staff from all of these programs will be on hand to provide families and friends about how you can best support your student academically.
