As we move forward with our efforts to help ensure our campus community is prepared in the case of an emergency, all Whitman students, faculty and staff are encouraged to attend one of four training sessions on Wednesday, Oct. 2 at 10 a.m., Noon., 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. (each session will be the same). Each hour-long training session will begin with an overview on various emergency scenarios, and then focus in more in-depth on how to respond in the case of an active shooter on campus. The sessions will be presented by our consulting firm, EPS, which specializes in emergency management for institutions of higher learning.
