Whitman College

Economics Club

Angel Baikakedi, a senior economics major, will be talking about her experience this past summer as a participant in the AEA Summer Program, a prestigious training program for economics undergraduates.

The Whitman Economics Club serves as a forum for faculty, students, alumni, and other friends of the Economics Department to share research ideas and interests. The goal is to grapple with the large and pressing economic challenges of the day. The club will organize seminars, reading groups, invited talks and lectures. These events will be opportunities for students to connect with others that share similar interests as well as become more involved in the department.
