Christine Lanphere ’86 is an award-winning French teacher (selected as National Language Teacher of the Year in 2007 by the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages) from Sacramento. Her talk will address the role of foreign languages in the evolving landscape of secondary education, including the Common Core standards.
