Interested in high school math or science education? Interested in math research? How does social justice connect to mathematics, economics, and computer science? Join Devon Yee '18 to learn about two paid summer opportunities. Pizza will be provided.
The first program is a Teaching Experience for Undergraduates (TEU). You can apply to teach math at Brown summer high school or environmental science at Trinity. The second is an Emerging Scholars Program Research Experience for Undergraduates (ESP-REU) at St. Mary's College of Maryland. In the past, student researchers worked in groups to tackle problems in math modeling, knot theory, and graph theory.
