Author Sherman Alexie will visit campus to deliver a lecture and share personal anecdotes from Reservation Blues, Whitman's Summer Read selection, as well as his life experiences and his many other works.

Alexie is a Native American poet, novelist, performer and filmmaker. A Spokane/Coeur d’Alene tribal member, Alexie grew up on the Spokane Indian Reservation in Wellpinit, Washington.  For more information on Sherman Alexie click here.
