Lunch & Learn with Journalist David Wheeler

Join journalism professor Dr. David Wheeler, who writes for The New York Times and The Atlantic, for (free) lunch and a Q&A session about professional opportunities in news, writing careers, and how to craft a pitch for an article.  Dr. Wheeler and his students also film class discussions on media ethics and the future of journalism for an informal talk show nicknamed "The Caffeine Corner" due to the large quantities of coffee consumed.

Also on Monday, at 7:00 pm in the Reid Young Ballroom, Dr. Wheeler will be delivering the annual Hosokawa Lecture, titled, Is the First Amendment the New Second Amendment? Calling Hate Speech Free Speech and Getting Away With It.
