Join a local historian in visiting Frenchtown in Celebration of International Archaeology Day.
Sam Pambrun is retired school administrator, descendant of one of the Frenchtown families, and a local historian. He is very knowledgeable about the Walla Walla Valley during the 19 th century, and he is particularly interested in the ways in which we can read this history in the geography of the area. Sam has provided a number of publications and presentations on these subjects for the Frenchtown Foundation (for example, see http://www.frenchtownwa.org/frenchtown/).
